Collaboration is at the heart of my work. Whether it’s performing in concerts, intimate events, or special occasions, preparing for a recital, exploring new repertoire, or refining technique. I work closely with you to shape experiences that feel expressive, engaging, and uniquely suited to you.

  • I offer versatile programming spanning classic and modern repertoire, from jazz as a pianist and vocalist in the style of Ella Fitzgerald and Evan Cassidy, to solo piano works including Gershwin, jazz-inflected virtuoso pieces and Debussy. Performances can be tailored for concerts, recitals, intimate gatherings, cabaret settings, or private and corporate events. Get in touch for sample recordings.

  • My passion for Musical Theatre and my experience at the Royal Adacemy of Dramatic Arts has enriched my work in this field. I coach singers to bring authenticity and storytelling into their performances. Whether you're preparing for an audition, refining your acting-through-song technique, or simply want to rehearse with a pianist, I help you to shape an honest and compelling performance through clarity of text, interpretation and dramatic insight.

  • Drawing on my training at the Royal College of Music in Collaborative Piano, I specialise in working with advanced singers on art song, Lieder and mélodie. My approach combines musical sensitivity with detailed work and attention to text, interpretation, and vocal expression. I bring strong theoretical, historical insight and strong poetic analysis skills to each session, helping you connect deeply with your repertoire and refine your interpretation with nuisance and emotional depth.

  • I am available for recording sessions with singers and instrumentalists, providing piano accompaniment in a variety of repertoire and styles.

For musical theatre and folk singers, I can write arrangements of songs on request to make a recording personal to you. I can o=er rehearsals involving coaching, or we can work collaboratively, developing musical ideas together.

Collaborate with me in my home practice studio in West London - get in touch for more details.

  • Mutsumi Dasgupta, parent

“Abhisri has brought us the joy of learning piano. Her quality of teaching is remarkable. She brings a multidisciplinary approach that makes lessons fun and motivating, helping young pianists discover music in an engaging way. She provided precise and thoughtful feedback - guiding us on the level of practice needed and showing us clearly how far we had progressed.  It is an absolute pleasure having her as part of our weekly routine. We truly love working with her and cannot recommend her highly enough.”

  • Addison Alfred, parent

“5 stars! I feel incredibly fortunate to have found Abhisri. Teaching, at its best, begins with trust - and over the last 2 years, my daughter has not only developed a solid foundation in piano and vocal technique, but has also grown tremendously in confidence and maturity. It has been inspiring to watch Zuri flourish both musically and personally under Abhisri’s expert and caring guidance.”

  • Alina Dasgupta, student

“I have loved learning with Abhisri and I truly don’t think I could have reached this point in my musical journey without her. Her constant encouragement and commitment to pushing further helped me not only pass my Grade 8 exam, but achieve a merit. She has guided me in expressing emotions through the keys and discovering a more nuanced, personal style of playing. It’s so fun having lessons with her and she is my favourite piano teacher yet!”

  • Isadora Katsis, adult student

“Abhisri is an incredible teacher. She is patient, an extremely good communicator, she makes theory easily understandable, memorable and fun. She sets goals and stays on top of development but also swiftly adapts her lessons if needed. She is encouraging and has helped me so much with confidence as well as technical skill. She is highly reliable. On top of being an excellent and talented teacher, she is a joy to be around. Any student would be lucky to have Abhisri as their teacher.”

  • Gemma Knox, parent

“Abhisri took a shy little girl who cried the first time she sang out loud and helped to mould her into a confident performer on both vocal and piano. Abhisri mentored and inspired our daughter to develop as a performer and instilled a love of music that has grown ever since. A fantastic role model that will go above and beyond to encourage students to work on technique, try new things and push themselves. Any student will be very lucky to have Abhisri as a tutor and we only wish she could be in two places at once!”
